Slap a CAI in and the noise is very noticeable. That includes intensive off-road driving and. If you have any ideas on how to make the turbo louder or intake sound louder for $200 or less please give me some ideas besides buying a CAI which i'm considering at the moment. Volant offers a 4 year or 100,000 mile warranty with all of its PowerCore cold air intakes as well regardless of driving conditions and usage. Also i've heard of taking off the turbo silencer off which i might try tomorrow, but i have also heard doing that makes the airflow to the turbo not as smooth and more choppy. I've seen the "Swiss cheese airbox mod" "airbox mod" and don't want to do either. Honestly if it doesn't make me lose power or gain anything I don't care since this one is $100, but what I am curious is what would i get from it sound wise? I really would like to hear some turbo woosh's or whistle sounds. Basically I was looking into getting a cold air intake regardless of people saying it has no hp gains and the people claim it does.
